Propose your changes

Your edits get sent to the guide's owner as a “pull request” on GitHub, where they can review and accept them. Only the guide text is sent, never your checkmarks. You need a free GitHub account.

Heads up: the guide was updated by someone else after you started editing, so your version may undo their changes. Consider discarding your edits and redoing them on the current guide.

1. Copy guide text
2. Open guide.txt on GitHub ↗
   GitHub asks you to sign in or create an account, then opens the guide in an editor. It may say it will “fork” the project for you; that is normal, just continue.
3. In that editor: select everything (Ctrl+A or ⌘+A), paste (Ctrl+V or ⌘+V), then click Commit changes…, then Propose changes, then Create pull request. Write one line about what you changed.
